Hydrological cycle!
Other important things to note
Distributary: A branch of a river that flows away from the main stream
Tributary: A stream that flows into a larger stream or other body of water
River mouth: an opening in a river that flows into another body (usually sea)
River source: where the river originates (opposite end of the river mouth, usually from the highlands)
For example, could you label where the distributary, tributary, river source and river mouth is in the diagram?

A very clear diagram! It gives me a good recap on the hydrological cycle.
And for labeling the diagram, I guess the river mouth is at the very south since it is near the sea and the river source is at the northern part near the green and red dots? One of the distributary is Hayes River.Yup.
Thanks for the post.

really? my label in the diagram is right opposite to LanTu's. personally, the mouth is at the north since the width of river is largest due to the gathering of distributary, it is connected to strait of juan de fuca which is sea, and the tribals are always located at the lower course.
i don't know whether it is correct or not.
but i have one question. does every river flow to sea consider as tributary? because it flows into sea which is a big water body.
Thanks for the post
